Cuddly bears are simpler than the traditional bears and are not jointed. Their legs are floppy but strong enough to enable them to sit. They all have safety eyes and heart-shaped noses. Most importantly: they are cuddly! Bows, eyes and ribbons vary from bear to bear and are chosen to match the fabrics you supply. Every bear is lovingly designed to make the Abest use of the supplied fabrics to create an expression and character sympathetic to the source materials.
Cuddly bears are approximately 45 cm tall. The fabric will be backed to ensure stability of the final product. Please refer to the additional info section to determine what you need to send me once you've selected your Source Material.
Most garments: baby-grows, toddler/child clothes, cotton shirts, T-shirts, rugby or football shirts, blouses, skirts, jeans, uniforms, waistcoats, suits jacket and trousers can be used to create your bear. If you are in doubt as to the suitability of the fabric you have please send me an email and I'll let you know if I can help you.
Cuddly Bear
Babygrows: For smaller items such as babygrows, I recommend at least 4 items so that I can create an interesting bear with nice contrasts in the panels.
Other garments: A single item of larger garments, such as dresses, waistcoats, jeans etc will usually be fine if large enough, however if you'd like to combine multiple pieces into a single bear, I'd be more than happy to oblige. A minimim of 2 garments will create nice contrasting panels.
